Shark Vineeta Singh Finishes 13th Tata Mumbai Marathon; Shares The ‘Best Fuel’ That Makes Her Run

Shark Vineeta Singh ran her 13th Tata Mumbai Marathon and shared snippets of the event with an insight on why she chose to run. The Sugar Cosmetic co-founder, who was recently inducted into India’s Top 10 Self-Made Entrepreneurs, has run 20+ marathons and over a dozen half marathons, besides participating in triathlons like Ironman. The IIM-Ahmedabad grad ran her first 42 kilometers without prior experience at the age of 23, when she realized how important fitness is. At the 30th mark of her run, a professor wanted to know her motivation behind running. In her Instagram and LinkedIn posts, the maverick remarked that she runs as it makes her a better founder, a better mom, and, overall, a better person. She further quips that running helps relieve stress, anxiety, fears, frustration, and pain. Running burns them like calories and helps her think with clarity. The fitness freak adds that it helps her sort out long-term problems and goals. For Vineeta, running is akin to strawberries or avocados, which are both healthy and make her feel good. The snap she shared in the Instagram slider is from 2018, when she ran a half-marathon while 6 months pregnant. Vineeta mentioned that she ran only upon her doctor’s approval.

Here’s how the internet reacted to Vineeta Singh’s latest accomplishment, praising her for her unmatched energy and for being an inspiration.

Meanwhile, the academician too posted the encounter with Shark Vineeta Singh on LinkedIn
