The Apple Watch, though it might cost a lot, is considered one of the most important gadgets you can have. It’s proven to save lives many times. Just recently, a woman from Delhi shared how grateful she was for her Apple Watch. It warned her about a serious health problem, which could have been deadly if she didn’t get help right away. She’s a PhD student at JNU and her heart rate went up to 250 beats per minute, which is really dangerous.

Apple Watch Saved Delhi Woman’s Life
A policy researcher named Sneha Sinha shared her experience with an Apple Watch, saying she’d been using it for over two years. One day, she received a notification on her watch indicating a very high heart rate. Upon returning home, she started feeling heart palpitations. However, her watch’s battery had died, so she waited for it to recharge.

After turning it back on, the watch consistently showed a high heart rate and kept reminding her to seek medical help. Unfortunately, she ignored the notifications, assuming her heart rate would return to normal. Sadly, it didn’t, leading to further complications.
Perhaps the most useful feature of the Apple Watch for me is that I can use it to look for my phone. My phone is permanently on ‘silent’ but that button on the top right makes your phone beep out even when it’s on ‘silent.’ Life saver! pic.twitter.com/C5KPPgaWOC

Sneha was doing okay at first, but then her watch flashed “Atrial Fibrillation,” a serious heart issue, after about 1.5 hours. Worried, she phoned a friend to rush her to the hospital. There, doctors discovered her heart was racing much faster than normal, making it impossible to measure her blood pressure. They acted fast, giving her DC shocks to restore her heart’s rhythm.

Sneha recalls the doctors mentioning that she arrived at the hospital just in the nick of time. Prior to this incident, she enjoyed robust health and relished challenging hikes in high-altitude mountains, even in oxygen-deprived environments.
