Samsung Galaxy Buds Core Launch Imminent in India, May Arrive Before Fold 7 Series

Samsung is gearing up to launch its new wireless earphones, the Galaxy Buds Core, in India, with teasers and official support pages now live. The company’s tagline, “let the music move you to the core,” strongly hints at the product name, which had been circulating in leaks. The Buds Core were also spotted on the Bureau of Indian Standards (BIS) website, further confirming their imminent arrival.

Samsung has teased the launch on X (formerly Twitter), promising richer, clearer audio with the line: “Brace yourself! The music is about to hit harder… Dropping soon!”

Samsung’s latest teaser for the Galaxy Buds Core reveals a silhouette that hints at their design. The charging case closely resembles that of the Galaxy Buds 3, while the earbuds themselves appear to follow the stem-less styling of the Galaxy Buds FE. This suggests a return to Samsung’s more compact, minimalist aesthetic, in contrast to the stem-based design introduced with the Buds 3 series. However, earlier leaks had pointed toward a stemmed form factor, so the final design remains uncertain until official images are released.

Positioned as the successor to the Galaxy Buds FE from 2023, the Galaxy Buds Core are expected to offer a more budget-friendly option compared to the premium Galaxy Buds 3. Reports suggest the Buds Core may come with a larger battery for longer usage and potentially better sound quality, alongside active noise cancellation (ANC). It’s still unclear whether Samsung will launch a separate Galaxy Buds FE 2 model or consolidate its affordable lineup under the Core branding.

The Buds Core launch also fuels speculation about other upcoming Samsung products, especially within the “FE” range. With the Galaxy S25 FE being long-rumored, Samsung may be planning a broader rollout of fan-edition devices. The company’s product strategy for the summer seems packed, aligning with its push to offer more choices across price segments.

This teaser comes just ahead of Samsung’s anticipated Galaxy Unpacked event, rumored to be held on July 9. In addition to the Buds Core, the event is expected to showcase major product releases, including the Galaxy Z Fold 7, Z Flip 7, and possibly a more affordable Z Flip 7 FE. With new launches across audio, smartphones, and foldables, Samsung looks set for a busy and competitive season.
